Privacy & Confidentiality
How information submitted through the ICAI Sustainability Reporting Awards portal is handled and protected.
Information collected
We collect registration details, authorized contact information, nomination responses, uploaded reports and supporting documents, authentication records, and security/audit information required to operate the awards process.
Purpose and use
Information is used to authenticate nominees, administer nominations, review and verify submissions, communicate status updates or clarification requests, generate authorized reports, prevent misuse, and maintain an auditable record of portal activity.
Confidentiality and access
Nomination data and documents are restricted to the submitting nominee and authorized ICAI administrators according to role-based access controls. Information is not intended for public disclosure unless separately approved for awards recognition or required by law.
Security and retention
The portal uses secure authentication, password hashing, CSRF protection, private document storage, validation controls, security headers, session controls, and activity logging. Records are retained only for the awards administration, legal, audit, and institutional requirements applicable to ICAI.
